Any kid will run any errand for you if you ask at bedtime
Bedtime is a magical time for children. It's the moment when they finally get to lay their heads down on their pillows and drift off into dreamland. But for parents, bedtime can also be a time of opportunity. It's a time when kids are tired, vulnerable, and more willing to do things for you than at any other time of day. This is where the saying "Any kid will run any errand for you if you ask at bedtime" comes into play.As a parent, I have found that bedtime is the perfect time to ask my children to do things for me. Whether it's fetching a glass of water, turning off a light, or grabbing a book from another room, my kids are always more than willing to help out when I ask them at bedtime. It's as if the act of getting ready for bed puts them in a more compliant and helpful mood.
I have also noticed that my children are more likely to agree to do things for me at bedtime because they know that once they complete the task, they will be one step closer to falling asleep. They are motivated by the promise of rest and relaxation, and are willing to do whatever it takes to get there.
