Attachment to Christ is the secret of detachment from the world

In the teachings of Jesus Christ, the concept of attachment to Him as a means of detachment from the world is a central theme. Jesus often spoke about the importance of putting God first and letting go of worldly desires in order to truly follow Him. This idea is encapsulated in the famous saying, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money" (Matthew 6:24).

Jesus understood the human tendency to become attached to material possessions, status, and relationships in this world. We are able to see the world through the eyes of Christ, recognizing the temporary nature of material possessions and the importance of focusing on eternal values.
