Care about what God cares about
Care about what God cares about
As believers, it is important for us to care about what God cares about. This means aligning our hearts and minds with His will and priorities. When we care about what God cares about, we are demonstrating our love and obedience to Him.One of the things that God cares deeply about is justice. Throughout the Bible, we see God's heart for the oppressed, the marginalized, and the vulnerable. He calls us to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6:8). When we care about justice, we are reflecting God's character and bringing His kingdom values to earth.
God also cares about the poor and needy. In the book of James, we are reminded that true religion is caring for widows and orphans in their distress (James 1:27). When we care for the least of these, we are showing our love for God and fulfilling His command to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Another thing that God cares about is reconciliation. He desires for us to be reconciled to Him and to one another. In 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, we are called to be ambassadors of reconciliation, bringing the message of God's love and forgiveness to a broken world. When we care about reconciliation, we are participating in God's redemptive work and spreading His love to those around us.
Ultimately, caring about what God cares about means putting His kingdom first in our lives. It means seeking His will above our own desires and priorities. It means loving Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31).
When we care about what God cares about, we are living out our faith in a tangible way. We are showing the world the transformative power of God's love and grace. May we always strive to care about what God cares about and bring glory to His name in all that we do.
