Every time i use the word

Every time i use the word "like" as a filler i hate myself a little bit more

The use of filler words such as "like" has become increasingly common in everyday speech, especially among younger generations. While these words may seem harmless at first, they can actually have a negative impact on how we are perceived by others and even on our own self-esteem.

Every time I catch myself using the word "like" as a filler, I can't help but feel a pang of self-disgust. It's as if I am betraying my own intelligence and succumbing to a lazy habit that diminishes the power of my words. I know that using filler words like "like" can make me sound less confident, less articulate, and less credible. It's like I am undermining my own authority and credibility with every unnecessary "like" that slips out of my mouth.

I hate myself a little bit more each time I catch myself using "like" as a crutch in my speech. It's a constant reminder of my own insecurities and lack of self-discipline when it comes to communication. I know that I am capable of expressing myself clearly and effectively without relying on filler words, yet I continue to use them out of habit or laziness.

The overuse of filler words like "like" can also have a negative impact on how others perceive us. It can make us come across as less intelligent, less confident, and less professional. People may be less likely to take us seriously or to listen to what we have to say if we pepper our speech with unnecessary fillers.
