I prefer depression over exercise
As someone who struggles with depression, the idea of choosing depression over exercise may seem counterintuitive to many. However, for those of us who battle with this mental illness on a daily basis, the thought of engaging in physical activity can often feel overwhelming and daunting.Depression can make even the simplest tasks feel like insurmountable obstacles. The lack of motivation, energy, and interest in activities that once brought joy can make the idea of exercising seem like an impossible feat. The thought of getting out of bed, let alone going for a run or hitting the gym, can feel like too much to bear.
