Jesus was too smart to ever run for public office... that's what Jesus would do

Mike Huckabee, a former governor of Arkansas and a prominent figure in conservative politics, has often been compared to Jesus in his beliefs and actions. However, one could argue that Jesus himself would never have run for public office, as he was too smart to get caught up in the corrupt and divisive world of politics.

Jesus was a man of peace, love, and compassion. He preached a message of forgiveness and understanding, and he lived his life in accordance with those principles. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and comforted the afflicted. He did not seek power or fame, but instead focused on serving others and spreading his message of love and salvation.

In contrast, running for public office requires a certain level of ambition, ego, and willingness to compromise one's principles in order to win votes and gain power. Politicians often have to make difficult decisions that may go against their beliefs in order to appease their constituents or special interest groups. Jesus, on the other hand, never wavered in his commitment to doing what was right, even when it was difficult or unpopular.

Furthermore, Jesus understood the dangers of seeking power and authority. He famously said, "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36), indicating that his mission was spiritual rather than political. He knew that earthly power was fleeting and ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Running for public office would have distracted him from his true purpose and mission.
