Justice that love gives is a surrender, justice that law gives is a punishment

Mahatma Gandhi, the revered leader of the Indian independence movement, was a firm believer in the power of love and nonviolence to bring about social change. Despite facing violence and persecution, Gandhi never wavered in his commitment to nonviolence and love as the guiding principles of his movement.
