Oh, your friends are coming? let me turn into the nicest mom in the world Picture Quote #1

Oh, your friends are coming? let me turn into the nicest mom in the world

As a mom, there are certain moments when we feel the need to put on our best face and be the nicest version of ourselves. One of those moments is when our children announce that their friends are coming over. Suddenly, we go into full-on hostess mode, making sure everything is perfect and that our children's friends feel welcomed and comfortable in our home.

It's almost as if a switch flips in our brains when we hear those words, "Oh, your friends are coming?" Suddenly, we are transformed into the nicest mom in the world, going above and beyond to make sure that our children's friends have a great time at our house.

We start by cleaning and tidying up the house, making sure everything is in its place and that the living room looks presentable. We may even go as far as baking some cookies or preparing some snacks for the kids to enjoy while they hang out.

We also make sure to greet our children's friends with a warm smile and a friendly hello, making them feel like they are part of the family. We engage them in conversation, asking about their day and showing a genuine interest in getting to know them better.

As the evening progresses, we continue to be the nicest mom in the world, offering to make snacks or drinks, playing games with the kids, and making sure everyone is having a good time. We may even go out of our way to accommodate any special dietary needs or preferences that our children's friends may have.

At the end of the evening, we send our children's friends home with a smile and a wave, knowing that we have done our best to make them feel welcome and appreciated in our home. And as we clean up the last of the dishes and put away the games, we can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that we have succeeded in being the nicest mom in the world for our children and their friends.
