Stop doing permanent things for temporary people
Fake friends are like a poison that slowly seeps into your life, causing harm and destruction without you even realizing it. They may appear friendly and supportive on the surface, but underneath their facade lies a selfish and manipulative nature that can ultimately lead to heartbreak and betrayal. One of the biggest mistakes we can make when it comes to fake friends is investing too much time, energy, and emotion into these relationships. We may find ourselves going out of our way to help them, bending over backwards to accommodate their needs, and sacrificing our own well-being for the sake of their approval. In doing so, we are essentially doing permanent things for temporary people – giving our all to individuals who are not deserving of our loyalty and trust.
It can be difficult to recognize fake friends for who they truly are, especially when they are skilled at masking their true intentions. They may shower us with compliments and flattery, make us feel special and valued, and create a sense of camaraderie that seems genuine at first glance. However, as time goes on, their true colors begin to show – they may gossip behind our backs, betray our trust, or only reach out to us when they need something.
