Text Quotes
I always say that I don’t like it when people follow trends too much, just because it is on the runway. I think what you wear really does need to reflect what your own personal style is  (Wear Quotes) I always wear a dinner jacket. I never have this definition of what goes for the morning or the evening or what works for the weekend  (Wear Quotes) Don’t go looking at me like that because you’ll wear your eyes out  (Wear Quotes) Living with a teenage daughter is like living with the Taliban a mum is not allowed to laugh, sing, dance or wear short skirts  (Wear Quotes) This is terrific! What fun! Maybe tomorrow I can go to the prom with my brother. The day after, perhaps I can wear white pants and unexpectedly get my period  (Wear Quotes) I’m partly somebody else trying to fit in and say the right things and do the right thing and be in the right place and wear what everybody else is wearing. Sometimes I think we’re all trying to be shadows of each other, trying to buy the same records and everything even if we don’t like them. Kids are like robots, off an assembly line, and I don’t want to be a robot!  (Wear Quotes) Bruno: Why do you wear pajamas all day? Shmuel: The soldiers. They took all our clothes away. Bruno: My dad’s a soldier, but not the sort that takes people’s clothes away  (Wear Quotes) And earth was heaven a little the worse for wear. And heaven was earth, done up again to look like new  (Wear Quotes) I might be confused sometimes in my head but it is not something you need to talk about. Before you can talk you have to line it all up in order and I had rather just let it swirl around until I am too tired to think. You just let the motion in your head wear you out. Never think about it. You just make a bigger mess that way  (Wear Quotes) The challenge for those of us who care about our faith and about a hurting world is to tell stories which will carry the words of grace and hope in their bones and sinews and not wear them like fancy dress  (Wear Quotes) I looked like a woman in glasses, but I had dreams of leading a very different kind of life, the life of a woman who would not wear glasses, the kind of woman I saw from a distance now and then in a bar  (Wear Quotes) It didn’t take a trauma to make you wear a mask. It didn’t take your parents getting shot... or cosmic rays or a power ring... Just the perfect combination of loneliness and despair  (Wear Quotes) What is it about wearing a tuxedo or that little black dress, that makes us feel confident, beautiful, splendid, even invincible? We put on formal wear and suddenly we become extraordinary. On the days when you feel low and invisible, why not try this on for size: imagine you are wearing a fantastic tailored tuxedo or a stunning formal gown. And then proceed with your day  (Wear Quotes) What you fear your whole life comes to pass. You end up living toward it, you spend your life running from it but your foot is nailed to the sidewalk. You circle around it until you wear yourself own  (Wear Quotes) I knew immediately that this was not going to work out. Hunter is the kind of guy who dates women who wear high heels and a cocktail dress on a first date. I can’t even walk in heels, and I generally believe that someone has to earn the right to see my legs  (Wear Quotes) If I did not wear torn pants, orthopedic shoes, frantic disheveled hair, that is to say, if I did not tone down my beauty, people would go mad. Married men would run amuck  (Wear Quotes) That’s what my mother doesn’t understand about my lipstick and dark clothes. I don’t wear tattoos to freak her out; I wear them because I have to. It’s me  (Wear Quotes) There is a latent fairy in all women, but look how carefully we have to secrete her in order to be taken seriously. And fairies come in all shapes, colours, sizes and types, they don’t have to be fluffy. They can be demanding and furious if hey like. They do, however, have to wear a tiara. That much is compulsory  (Wear Quotes) The library would’ve cheered me up, most days. I loved the heavy oaken tables, the high walls stacked with books to the ceiling, the musty smell of old pages and the heavy brass fixtures that had gone dark with age and wear  (Wear Quotes) Many people lack the basic equipment to be in a relationship and there’s nothing you can do to change it. You can’t take a skunk and dip it in perfume and hope it becomes a puppy. Eventually, the perfume will wear off and you’ll still have a skunk on your hands  (Wear Quotes) O, to be sure, we laugh less and play less and wear uncomfortable disguises like adults, but beneath the costume is the child we always are, whose needs are simple, whose daily life is still best described by fairy tales  (Wear Quotes) I wanted to wear the mantle and the pearls. I wanted to know the man who painted her like that  (Wear Quotes) In years past, to keep their men close, women would wear a ring and bear children. It doesn’t work like that today. Nowadays, how do we hold on to those we love? I’ve no idea  (Wear Quotes) ... what makes you older is when your bones, muscles and blood wear out, when the heart sinks into oblivion and all the houses you ever lived in are gone and people are not really certain that your civilization ever existed  (Wear Quotes) Over time, the ghosts of things that happened start to turn distant; once they’ve cut you a couple of million times, their edges blunt on your scar tissue, they wear thin. The ones that slice like razors forever are the ghosts of things that never got the chance to happen  (Wear Quotes) Push yourself. Don’t settle. Wear those stripy legs with pride. And if you insist on settling down with some ridiculous bloke, make sure some of this is squirreled away somewhere. Knowing you still have possibilities is a luxury. Knowing I might have given them to you has alleviated something for me  (Wear Quotes) You wear nice clothes, you seek respect, you make a lot of money, but what’s the point? It’s all pointless. Of course, this kind of meaninglessness might suit this crappy nation. But, you see, we still have emotions like joy and happiness, right? They may not mount to much. But they fill up our emptiness. That’s the only explanation I have  (Wear Quotes) ... if you’re going to wear a dress like that you need to wear it with confidence. You need to fill it out mentally as well as physically  (Wear Quotes) We wear clothes, and speak, and create civilizations, and believe we are more than wolves. But inside us there is a word we cannot pronounce and that is who we are  (Wear Quotes) Be careful what you wear to bed, because you never know where you might wake up  (Wear Quotes)
